Welcome to Wisconsin!

There are streams in SW that fishable for trout this time of year.  Just need to play that weather,  you want it nice out but not to nice as the streams will muddy up.

Things will pick up the next few weeks.

felix87,

Welcome to the state, Wisconsin is big north to south, north is still froze up but SW Wisconsin is open with many nice streams. Get a copy of the state trout regulations book it shows a lot of the streams, lots of good streams in the Viroqua area.

Good Luck,

Andy

I hate to be that guy....but I just moved to WI for work. I can't stand not fishing any longer, are there any fish-able trout streams yet? I am fairly new to fly fishing and fell in love with it when I was working in Idaho.

To add if you every get a chance to go out west, fish the Owhyee River in Oregon during the summer one amazing place.

General Fly Fishing / Replacement Netting

I'm long overdue for replacing the netting on my Neil Sanvidge trout net. The hoop measures 12" long and 8" at the widest spot. Any ideas on where to get replacement material?
